Dear Neighbors, My concern for our neighborhood and the citizens of Ingham County has driven me to help develop sound public policies which will enhance the lives of all of our citizens. I understand that good government means working together to maintain and improve the quality of life for all citizens. Infrastructure concerns have been addressed.  Working cooperatively with the Road Commission, city of Lansing, and Lansing Township, I am pleased to have successfully worked for the implementation of the resurfacing and renovations project of Waverly Road.  Through my leadership, uninsured residents have been given access to health care and recreational opportunities have been expanded with the expansion of Hawk Island Park. I continue to work on strengthening our economy by supporting job creating and economic development initiatives such as Lansing Regional Smart Zone, Port of Entry for Capital Region International Airport and The Ingham County Land Bank.  Voted to amend the county's purchasing policy to give preference to local vendors who invest in our community.  I want to continue to provide the citizens of Ingham County with positive leadership, and as a teacher, to represent the needs of our children in these challenging financial times. I am seeking your support for re-election to a 6th two-year term. By working together, we can continue to make Ingham County a great place to live in, work in, and to raise a family in.
